Under the Grosvenor Hotel (also known as Grosvenor Mansion) is where Thomas Ross opened his shop upon his removal from 6, Castle Street, and from where the several later editions of his guide were published; and at the opposite corner (now Batemans,optician), was Diplock's Library and Reading Room, 38, Robertson Street[1]
