WW2 Aircraft Crashes

A number of aircraft crashed in the vicinity of Hastings during WW2 whether as a result of enemy action or accident.

1st August 1940: Temporary S/Lt (A) I. H. Kestin, flying a Hurricane of RAF 145 Squadron Westhampnett, was killed when he was shot down ten miles south of Hastings[1]
