Student International Services Ltd (SIS)
From Historical Hastings
SIS were a language school that brought foreign students into Hastings to learn English, the students being boarded with families resident in Hastings. From 1976, they had their premises in the old Tourist Information Centre in Verulam Buildings having taken a three year lease at a cost of £3,000 to include rates. The premises featured a games/TV room, and a Discotheque on the ground floor, and classrooms/offices on the upper floors[1].
Perhaps best known for their bright red logo and students dressed in colourful attire.
