Born around 1880 son of John Ward and resident of Baston Lodge, where his family took in Alan Turing.
Colonel Ward served as a church-warden at St. Leonards Church in the early part of the 20th century[1], and served in the Salvation Army[2].
He died in Tunbridge Wells at at 13 Ferndale , Tunbridge Wells aged 81 on the 28 Feb 1935 having recently moved to borough.
