Bryant and Sons ran a furniture removal business and a warehouse for storage of household items. Their main premises were in Cornwallis Street with a showroom for second hand furniture at 43, 44, 45 & 46 Queen's Road certainly between 1907 [1] and 1969[2]. During WW2 the firm offered their basements as an air raid shelter[3].
