Old Houses in High Street Nos. 19, 20 and 21.

The name on No. 19 is POOL, Turner and Cooper. No. 20, W. POLLARD, Bookbinder. I well remember fifty years ago, when connected with the firm of Parsons and Cousins, Printers, taking orders for bookbinding to Mr. Pollard. He was an old man then. One of his sons, Mr. T. J. Pollard, is still living amongst us, with whom I have often enjoyed a chat.
