appointed coaches were until recent years running in Hastings and St. Leonards to the various places of interest in the neighbourhood, and to the meets of the Foxhounds. The latest mode of travelling by swift motors and motor coaches, the latter carrying 20 passengers or more, and sometimes making trips covering 80 to 120 miles a day.
