Zion Cottages were a group of five buildings situated off Tackleway. By 1930, the properties were designated as slums and thus required clearance. Numbers 1-4 were demolished, possibly in part due to the lack of garden/amenity space, but number 5 survived as Zion Cottage until circa 1977, then being rebuilt, the street address being changed to 43 Ebenezer Road[1]
