A Temperance club that was located originally at 13 Bohemia Place - this house being opened on the 31st of March 1871, moving to Shornden Villas a year later. The new premises opened on the 26th of March, 1872 with a housewarming for reportedly 100 persons in the smoking room number 1[1].
