Hello, I am loathe to edit your page on Beach Terrace without being able to find the source of the sentence "Following construction of the terrace there were a number of complaints from the generally well-to-do owners of property in Pelham Crescent about the loss of their sea view." On the Beach Cottages page you state they were also known as Beach Terrace (earliest reference to this name I could find was 1867.) I think there were possibly additions to the cottages at the time but the original cottages were built in 1818 (according to your page under that title), and as the Crescent was built roughly in the early 1820's, so cottages extant.
