Market Passage (St. Leonards)
From Historical Hastings
Originally a terrace of ten houses to the south of Norman Road, now a twitten with an exit onto Market Street. The ten houses were cleared as part of the 1930 Slum Clearance; the houses suffering from crowding, a lack of daylight, damp and structural issues, with the compulsory purchase order being issued in 1937[1].
