Emmanuel Church

Emmanuel Church

Built using funds endowed to the parish by Sophia Mendham on the site of a dairy farm[1], this church was consecrated on the 22nd September 1873[2], with a capacity of 450 persons[3]. The church suffered bomb damage on the 3rd of May 1942[4]
