Edward's Rest at 23 Croft Road was donated by a mason, A. Lewis to the Derwent Lodge of Masons in 1870 in memory of his father. The Derwent Lodge is the local Masonic Lodge. Edward "Tiny" Breeds and his family lived in the property during the 1940s/50s[1]
The railings at the front of the property were replaced in 1993[2]
