Of this manor Robert of Hastings holds 2½ hides of the abbot, and Heoruwulf half a hide. They themselves have 4 villans and 4 cottars, and 2 ploughs. The whole manor TRE was worth 34l.; now the abbot’s demesne [is worth] 50l. , but [that] of the men 44s.
