Located at 49-53 Warrior Square (the top-west corner), this hotel was to have become a residential hotel for old people not requiring care in 1996 but the application was withdrawn and it later became a house of multiple occupation with 19 self-contained units in 2013, operated by an Eastbourne company; South Downs Residential Ltd, an additional 13 rooms being added by means of internal modifications in 2020.
