James Stell

From Historical Hastings

James is recorded as being apprenticed to presumably his father, John Stell on the 16th of December 1774 as a silk-weaver[1]. He married Martha Coppard in St Clements Church on the 26th of June 1792. Following this, they would appear to have emigrated to America, for his death is recorded in Philadelphia on the 7th of March 1842[2]
