Template:Get basepage/doc

Purpose: Information about individuals is shared across languages and within family groups. The article with the common shared information is called the "smwbasepage" for that person, place or family group. Given an article from a particular language, this template will return the "smwbasepage" with the common information for that person, place or family group. If the family group parameter is set, this will return the smwbasepage for the coparent article that lists the children for the indicated family group.

Inputs:

• Parameter 1= the article. (required)
• family group= (optional) Look for the basepage for a family group. If set, then looks for the parent of the family group number indicated that lists the children for that group.

Returns: String with either the SMW basepagename, or the value of parameter 1 if no basepage exists. Returns null if Parameter 1 is null. For family groups, if neither coparent had children listed, then no family group basepage exists and so null is returned.
