South Saxon Hotel

From Historical Hastings
(Redirected from Saxon Hotel)

This was one of the first buildings in Grand Parade to have been constructed around 1831-2, with stabling and coach houses to the rear.[1]. Walter Inskipp is known to have been the designer of this building and the surrounding buildings from 1-12 Grand Parade; he having lived in the building for a period soon after completion[2]. The hotel was demolished for flats circa 1905.
