Manor Hall

During the late 1940s, the structure served as a Furniture Warehouse. In the subsequent decade, during the 1950s, it found alternative applications in light industrial endeavors, such as the production of plaster novelties. It was demolished prior to 1960 to make way for a petrol station and a used car dealership. This garage suffered a disastrous collapse in 1960, the Hastings & St. Leonards Observer reporting:-

Seven cars were buried beneath the wreckage of Manor Hall Service Station on the corner of Manor Road and St Marys Terrace, Hastings when it collapsed early today blocking the road. Firemen, Police and Corporation workmen rushed to the scene. There was a strong smell of petrol, and with electric light cables shattered it was feared fire might break out.
Damage was estimated in thousands of pounds.

The site would later transform into a betting shop and now serves as a taxi firm.
