Historic Monuments Survey
The Historic Monuments Survey recorded and photographed over a period between 1962 and 1964 every building deemed of historic or architectural importance. Most, but not all of the buildings were Grade 1 or Grade 2 listed. Partial surveys were also conducted in 1935,1942 & 1950.
