Template talk:Showfacts biography is now set up for further improvements to the potted biography that graces the tops of thousands of our articles and must be a significant part of visitors' first impressions. I have strung out the code into manageable bits, with a layman's interpretation of what each block does.
Users familiar with parser functions could greatly help by checking my interpretations, inserting details of what each sub-block does, and dealing with the queries.
Other users are welcome to read through and suggest areas where further improvements might be most valuable.
